An authentic privilege for the most discerning palates
The presence of the Guadalquivir River, and the city's beautiful gardens help to conjure up the notion that being in Sevilla is an authentic privilege.Wines and tapas make it possible to enjoy pleasures that are unique to this city. The harmonious assemblage of it all will let you see that Sevilla is different.
There are excellent restaurants available specialised in Andalusian, Spanish or international food. The usual thing in the city is to go for tapas, or “tapeo”, the culinary tradition that consists of small portions of regional dishes served with the purchase of a drink. In the districts of La Alfalfa, Santa Cruz, El Arenal, and Triana there are a myriad of bars where is possible to go for tapas. The gastronomy of Sevilla is a reflection of its past; the Arab roots are particularly vigorous, and this has implied that many dishes such as gazpacho, of Semitic origin, is available all over Andalusia and has even extended to the rest of Spain.
